Nutricote Going to Space!

NASA has sent a letter to our distributor from the International Space Station (ISS) stating that Nutricote 18-6-8 T180 has performed very well among many slow-release fertilizers tested over many years in a lettuce cultivation system. NASA has sent a letter to our distributor.

Since transporting fresh vegetables to the ISS by Space Shuttle is expensive, the idea is that by bringing a cultivation system, fertilizer, and vegetable seeds to the ISS and growing vegetables in space, astronauts can secure fresh vegetables to eat at a lower cost than transporting vegetables to the ISS.

The cultivation system is equipped with LED lighting, which enables cultivation even in dark space, and uses Nutricote as fertilizer. Nutricote is an overseas brand name for export, and is sold in Japan under the familiar brand names of Long, Ecolong, or High Control (Nutricote 18-6-8 is a brand name for overseas use only). Nutricote is an overseas brand name for export.

We were curious to know what happened to the lettuce grown in space, but we were told that the nutritional value of the lettuce is still being analyzed and that no one has eaten it yet. By the time the general public begins its journey into space, it may not be long before we can eat fresh vegetables grown with Nutricote in space. We hope that one day we will be able to see vegetables grown on the ISS using Nutricote on the streets. ・・・・
