LP Coat" and "M Coat" are coated urea fertilizers that adjust the leaching of fertilizer components in accordance with crop growth. LP Coat and M Coat are white spherical fertilizers that coat granular urea with a specially processed membrane made mainly of polyolefin resin and natural minerals.
　Features include: (1) Ease of operation: full basal application of fertilizer reduces fertilizer application labor; (2) Low cost: high utilization of fertilizer components allows for reduced fertilizer use; (3) Improved productivity: uniform nutrient supply ensures consistent crop quality; (4) Reduced environmental impact: high fertilizer utilization reduces contamination of groundwater and air; (5) Membrane is environmentally friendly: as the membrane degrades, it can eventually be decomposed by microorganisms. 　There are two types of leaching types: the linear type, in which leaching begins immediately after fertilizer application, and the sigmoid type, in which leaching begins after the initial leaching is suppressed for a certain period of time. The number of days that nitrogen is 80% leached in soil at 25°C is used as the name for the type.
　Because the leaching of fertilizer components can be predicted, it is also possible to apply just the right amount of fertilizer at the right time for the crop. We offer this compound fertilizer to growers throughout Japan as a compound fertilizer that can provide fertilizer efficacy suited to the growing conditions of each region.
　We have also developed "J Coat" with reduced plastic content in the coating.
