Tell us about your current job.

Together with a trading company, we sell coated fertilizers to growers in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Our main targets are orchids, tropical fruits, and other crops called cash crops. We are proceeding with the process of manufacturing and selling better fertilizers by conducting formulation tests for different soils and types.

What makes you happy when you interact with customers?

Our products are somewhat expensive because of their high technology, but we are happy when our customers understand that using our products can reduce the frequency of fertilizer application and lower labor costs. The most gratifying and rewarding experience for me is when customers say "thank you" for using our products.

How have you grown in the Overseas Department?

Crops grown in Japan are limited, but overseas, the variety is much greater. I feel that I am now able to see things from a new perspective by learning new things and things. I would like to make use of this broad perspective even if I am transferred to other departments in the future.
