Tell us about your current job.

I am engaged in research and development at the Fertilizer Research Laboratory in Fuji City. Currently, I am working on investigating the operating conditions of new coating equipment and improving the plastic used in biodegradable resin-coated fertilizers. Both of these tasks are very rewarding, as the performance of both can be improved dramatically with a little ingenuity.

What do you find attractive about Jaimu Agri after working there?

I like the fact that I have little overtime and a lot of paid vacations, so I can make a clear separation between on and off duty. I work hard at my job, and on my days off, I enjoy driving and going to the gym to refresh myself. I enjoy my work because I have a good balance between work and life.

What are your goals for the future?

The first step is to be involved in the launch of a new product. Ideally, I would like to see my research used there. When I am in a position to have subordinates as a supervisor, my goal is to become a person who is able to manage and nurture them responsibly. To achieve this, I would like to gain a variety of experiences and improve my abilities as a manager.

Message to Job Hunters

When choosing a company, I think it is important not to make assumptions about one's own abilities, but to choose a company based on whether the atmosphere and personality of the company matches one's own personality. When you are in college, you should devote yourself to research and seminars that you can only do there, and then you should play hard. I didn't play hard, so that is something I regret (laughs).
