A coated fertilizer made by coating nitrogenous fertilizers such as urea with a film material.
Representative products include LP Coat, M Coat, and Meister, as well as the new environmentally friendly J Coat.
The number of days of 80% elution at 25°C is shown numerically.
There are two types of leaching patterns: linear (L) type, which leaches continuously after fertilizer application, and sigmoid (S) type, which suppresses leaching for a certain period of time after fertilizer application.
