Basic Product Information

Gentle on the earth (soil environment)! Microbially degradable slow-release fertilizer

Acetaldehyde condensed urea is a cyclized compound of two molecules of urea and two molecules of acetaldehyde, and is a slow-release fertilizer (trade name CDU) that is degraded (mineralized) mainly by microbial degradation. CDU is a light yellow powder or granular fertilizer containing 31% nitrogen. The rate of mineralization is generally related to the activity of soil microorganisms, so the lower the soil temperature, the slower the rate of mineralization, which accelerates with increasing temperature above 15°C. Above 35°C, the rate of mineralization slows as microbial activity declines due to high temperature. The rate of mineralization with respect to soil moisture is slow at both too high and too low temperatures, reaching its highest value at a maximum water capacity of about 70%. One of the characteristics of CDU is that soil microorganisms (mainly bacteria and actinomycetes) proliferate as a result of its decomposition, which is expected to improve the soil microbe layer and soil physical properties.
Hyper CDU" is produced by combining CDU with leaching inhibitors and decomposition accelerators in appropriate proportions (Total Nitrogen 30%). There are three types with different fertilizer efficacy periods (short, medium, and long term), and two types of fine granules for easy use in seedling production. This allows the selection of the fertilizer efficacy type that best suits the crop. The mechanism of fertilizer efficacy (mineralization) regulation is shown in the figure.

CDU" and "Hyper CDU" are registered trademarks of JCAM Agri.

Features

This fertilizer contains 70% of the chisso component of CDU chisso, which works in a wriggly (slow-acting) manner.
CDU chisso works similarly to rape oil meal and lasts longer than rape oil meal.
This fertilizer is highly safe against concentration disorders.
CDU chisso is a synthesized organic material. When applied in a row, this fertilizer promotes the growth of good soil microorganisms, reduces fungal diseases, and helps to make the soil more compact.
