What is J-Coat (next generation coating fertilizer)
J-Coat is a next-generation coated fertilizer developed to prevent runoff of coated shells from leaving the field. Like LP Coat, J Coat is a granular urea-coated fertilizer. It has the same physical and chemical properties as LP Coat and is suitable as a raw material for compound fertilizers.
The Green Food System Strategy sets a goal of reducing the use of chemical fertilizers by improving the efficiency of fertilizer application. J-Coat" is expected to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers because the fertilizer components are efficiently absorbed and utilized.
*"J-Court" and "LP-Court" are registered trademarks of J-CAM Agri.
This fertilizer is a one-shot, all-base application type fertilizer that requires only one application at the time of base fertilization and does not require ear fertilization.
Good IB is a slow-release fertilizer that leaches out through hydrolysis with little change in fertilizer efficacy with respect to temperature.
For basal fertilizer, fast-acting ammonia-form chisso and Good IB are effective. For ear fertilizer, J-Coat SD (elution period: 80 days) and J-Coat SE (elution period: 100 days) start eluting and maintain their efficacy until maturity.
This is a one-shot fertilizer for paddy rice using "J-Coat", which has greatly improved "film disintegration". The film is decomposed by light and microorganisms and disintegrates with minor force after about one year.
